Florida Association of State and Federal Education Program Administrators

If you are currently NOT a FASFEPA or NAFEPA member, the FASFEPA Board would like to encourage you to join. Below you will find information on both organizations and their benefits. Membership fees are minimal considering the benefits.

FASFEPA – Our Purpose is to …

• Promote and facilitate communication among educational programs.

• Provide opportunities to discuss legislation, regulations, directives, and guidelines of common concern.

• Increase student achievement through efficient practices.

• Disseminate information about best and effective State and Federal education programs.

• Inform members and others about State and Federal legislation.

• Provide professional development for persons involved in State and Federal education including parents, community members, and school personnel.

• Award scholarships to deserving students.

Discounted membership fee for NAFEPA is $50.00, if you are a member of FASFEPA. FASFEPA membership is $25.00.

NAFEPA – Benefits of being a member

• In additional to the opportunities gained through networking with federal program administrators across the nation, NAFEPA members receive timely information about the implementation of No Child Left Behind and other federal programs. Two national providers of information related to education are partnered with NAFEPA to provide specialized benefits to NAFEPA members: Brustein and Manasevit Law Firm in Georgetown, and Thompson Publishers in Washington, DC.

• Benefits of affiliation include having a representative on the NAFEPA Board of Directors.

FASFEPA will submit your information to NAFEPA. Renewals are done with the Fall Forum Registration.

Who Should Join?

Federal Education program directors, coordinators, managers, and staff; grant-writers; finance officers; principals; and others who are engaged in the ongoing provision of federally funded services to students and their families.

The membership year runs from Fall to Fall, with renewals due at the Fall Forum. Dues are $25 per year.
