FASFEPA and ECTAC Technical Assistance Forum
September 19-21, 2007

The purpose of this document is to communicate the results of the FASFEPA and ECTAC Technical Assistance Forum, held in Tampa, Florida, from September 19 – 21, 2007. The meeting was convened to provide technical assistance to FASFEPA and ECTAC members on issues, such as, NCLB Updates, SES, Parent Involvement, and School Restructuring.  The meeting also provided a forum for sharing and exchange of information among attendees.


FASFEPA - Our Purpose is to….
  • Promote and facilitate communication among educational programs.
  • Provide opportunities to discuss legislation, regulations, directives, and guidelines of common concern.
  • Increase student achievement through efficient practices.
  • Disseminate information about best and effective State and Federal education programs.
  • Inform members and others about State and Federal legislation
  • Provide professional development for persons involved in State and Federal education including parents, community members, and school personnel.
  • Award scholarships to deserving students.
